A word of salutation from the Head of the City Administration

The city of Gubkin is justly called “the jewel of the Kursk Magnetic Anomaly.” It is one of the largest industrial and sustainably developing central cities of Belgorod Oblast. We mine and process ore in the oldest plants of the Kursk Magnetic Anomaly - integrated plant KMAruda and the Lebedinsky GOK (Lebedinsky mining and processing plant - and we build houses, schools, hospitals, culture centres and sports facilities, orthodox churches and roads; we improve our living environment on a large scale and successfully implement many social programmes.

The land of Gubkin is rich in mineral resources, but its main treasure is people who are gifted, hardworking, open and loving their motherland. With their glorious deeds they build their happy future and the future of their children and grandchildren.
